Burning Rivers of Shadows and Tears: by Tiny Butler copyright 1992
It sad it seems
We can't hold on to our dreams
Burning rivers of shadows and tears
Have haunted me for a thousand years
I appeared invisible
I tried to be invincible
Hide behind your hidin' hurt
No one gets what they deserve
Hallucination reality
Shrouded in this mystery
Rags to riches won't set you free
'Cause burning rivers still scorches me
We're both lost in indecision
I felt the pain, you stuck the knife
We're both chained to our affections
Tortured….dungeon state of mind
I appeared invisible
I tried to be invincible
Hide behind your hidin' hurt
No one gets what they deserve
We're both lost in indecision
I felt the pain, you stuck the knife
We're both chained to our affections
Tortured, dungeon state of mind
It sad it seems
We can't hold on to our dreams
Burning rivers of shadows and tears
Have haunted me for a thousand years
Burning Rivers shadows and tears
Have haunted me for a thousand, thousand years
